Philip Lee Edwards, 76, passed away on April 14, 2024. Philip was a lifelong resident of Poquoson, VA and a graduate of Poquoson High School and East Tennessee State University. Philip made his career in the lumber management business. He was a faithful member of JOUAM (Junior Order of United American Mechanics). He loved golf, fishing, and most of all his beloved cats. Philip (Uncle Tiny) was predeceased by his wife, Mary Ann West Edwards and his parents, Philip F. and Mary B. He is survived by his sisters Martha Culpepper (Chattanooga, TN) and Mary Owen (Fork Union, VA), a niece, Carolyn Miller (Bruce) of Richmond, VA and nephew, Brian Culpepper (Kristie) of Xenia, OH. He had five great nieces and nephews, Brent, Addison, Elizabeth Ann, Tucker and Annie Kate. Family and Friends will gather on Thursday, April 18 at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home in Poquoson from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peninsula SPCA, 523 J Clyde Morris Boulevard, Newport News, VA 23601.
