Betty Lou Gosling-Wornom

Betty Gosling-Wornom went peacefully to be with our Lord at her home at the age of 91 on February 21, 2026.  

Betty was a loving wife to her first husband Graydon “Wes” Gosling in which they shared their son James Michael Gosling. Loving wife to Wendell G. Wornom.  Betty was a faithful follower with Tabernacle Methodist Church for many years.  She loved her family, faith, horses/dogs.  Betty also enjoyed traveling to many places with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Edward and Esma Elisabeth Willett, her first husband Graydon “Wes” Gosling, her son James Michael Gosling.  Stepdaughter Bonnie Hulcher Badura.

She is survived by her husband Wendell Gibbs Wornom, sister Lavern (Bruce) Poe, niece April (Bryan) Gainey, nephew Kenneth Poe, grandnieces, Ashleigh Gainey, Taylor Gainey, Caitlyn Gainey.  Daughter in Law Blair Hickerson (Tom). Stepdaughter Connie (John) Bush. As well as six step grand children and 5 step great grand children.

Please join us as we lay to rest our cherished loved one Friday February 27, 2026 at Claylor Rollins Funeral Home 836 Poquoson Ave, Poquoson Va.  Visitation at 11:00, Service to follow at 12:00 p.m.  Graveside at Ware Episcopal Church at 2 p.m.
