James Lawrence O'Toole

James Lawrence O’Toole, 90, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024. James grew up in Westchester, New York and spent a majority of his time in Cherry Hill, New Jersey until he moved to Newport News where he resided for the last 35 years.

James is retired from the Glidden Corp. After retirement, he worked at Patriot Chevrolet in Williamsburg, VA, then at Suttle Motor Corp in Newport News.

His memory is cherished by his loving wife of 32 years, Lenora; children, Jason and Glenn; grandchildren, Haley, Christopher, Ryan, Riley, Braiden, and Colin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Peninsula Food Bank at 2401 Aluminum Ave, Hampton, VA 23661. At James’ request, there will be no service or visitation.
