Janet Lee (Evans) Hogge

Janet Lee Hogge, 72, was called home Saturday, February 17, 2024. A native and lifelong resident of Poquoson, she was born June 8, 1951, to the late Allen and Frances Evans. Janet enjoyed spending time in Waynesboro with family and on the fishing boat with her father Allen. Her family also owned and operated Evans grocery in the 1970’s.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert E. Hogge. She is survived by her children, Robert W, Hogge and Susan M. Hogge (Donald D. Watt); grandchildren, Erica Crusberg (Wesley), Andrea Hogge, Rachel Hogge, Robert Zasimowich, Jr; great-granddaughter, Arianna Hogge; brother, Allen Evans; sisters-in-law, Jean Adams and Brenda Evans; special cousin, Kathy Boyd, as well as many other loving relatives and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home.
